    Associate SDE Intern at Expedia, Gurgaon for Summer 2018. Working with the Expedia Worldwide Engineering (EWE) team on ExpWeb and Optimisation issues.
  • Intern at Autochat.io
    Remote internship at a Hyderabad-based startup Autochat.io. Working on an AI-based project concerned with the development of a chatbot. This bot is a personal assistant of sorts to assist users in recommending restaurants and helping them find a suitable restaurant for various occasions.
  • Summer School at IIIT Hyderabad, July 2017
    Attended PSOSN Summer school at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad. The agenda of the summer school was Privacy and Security of Online Social Networks. Worked on retieval of data from some popular online social networks (using their APIs) and their analysis using Machine Learning Techniques & Graphing methods. Also, attended lectures by experts from the field and participated in ideation events to solve some common privacy & security issues on online social networks.

  • Smart Travel - Optimising Public Transport system
    Web and mobile app based solution to enhance lives of commuters, Department and the staff appointed in public transport. In accordance with requirements of Goldman Sachs.
    Uses ML-based algorithms to predict the occupancy in bus/metro at a particular stop, safest bus route along with cheapest and quickest routes.
    Provides real-time and overall analytics to the Public Transport Department.
  • FindLoan - A loan aggregation and management Application
    A flexible CMS portal that provides up-to-date information about government Loan schemes to users. Provides users interface to apply for loans online.
    In accordance with the Startup India Hub and requirements of DIPP.
    A well-structured all-in-one portal for applicants and department officials.
  • EduPal - Helping students explore opportunities in their fields
    Recommends relevant competitions and scholarships to students based on their linkedIn profiles. Uses an ML-based model for making recommendations.
    Suggests students majors and colleges based on their profiles & interests.
    Assigns a tech score to students based on their GitHub contributions.
  • SafeCitizen Application - Safeguarding citizens against Monkey Menace
    A Smart CMS portal for citizens, PMC and monkey catchers. Also processes CCTV footage to detect monkeys & auto-register complaints.
    In accordance with PMCCare and requirements of Pune Municipal Corporation.
  • Defect Tracking Tool - Tracking and predicting bug-prone Java classes
    Predict defect-prone files in GitHub repos on the basis of important software metrics.

  • Testing Mechanism for detecting commonly used pesticides in fruits and vegetables using chemically prepared test strips.
